Bio

Frank was born in Rock Island, IL. He grew up in Corydon, IN.  Before studying classically, he grew up singing in church, and began playing the piano shortly after his Grandfather taught him to play his first hymn.  Throughout high school, he dedicated himself to his craft which earned him several state championships. He continued his passion throughout college (Hobe Sound Bible College) and was invited to play Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concerto with the school's symphony orchestra in graduate school (The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Music) after winning the seminary's concerto competition.  He studied piano classically with Archie Coons (highschool), Randall McElwain (college) and world-reknowned classical musicologist Maurice Hinson (graduate school).

From 2003-2005, Frank was an artist for IPI Records, an Indie label in Deltona, FL.  He and Shari (R&B, pop-style singer) wrote music, recorded, and toured for IPI.  They recorded two albums together ("Walk Alone?" & "I Heard"), before Frank moved to West Palm Beach.

As a resident composer in Palm Beach county, Frank Carter and his band play concerts in area venues and are also available to travel out of state.  Frank's discography includes:

"The Road Home" (1999)
"Piano Praise" (2001)

He also published the book "The Girl In the Tower" in 2007.
